There are numerous options for accommodations in both the Tybee & Savannah areas. We recommend staying on Tybee due to its proximity to the reception. We highly recommend selecting a rental property near the pier that fits your party size and needs but there are also nice hotel & B&B options. Tybee is small, so many locations are walkable, however we will be providing additional information regarding transportation options closer to the event.

The Beachside Colony properties have 3 swimming pools and an easy to access restaurant called Marlin Monroe’s. Please mention the Jones/Escalera wedding to received a 15% discount for any unit rented for Friday and Saturday night. Ask for Blanche or Kelly if there is a problem. They are holding 5 one bedroom (most of the units are 2+ bedrooms) and 10 two bedrooms until 30 days before the wedding. A $100 deposit is required when booking, but it will be refunded if cancelled at least 30 days before the wedding. While the units being held are condos, there are a few rooms or efficiencies at a lower cost in a building called The Vue.

Please mention that you are with the Jones/Escalera Wedding. These rooms will be held until 60 days prior to the wedding. If those rooms fill up (or it is less than 60 days till we get hitched) you can still book a room at the Desoto. If rooms are available you will still receive the 10% discount. Home Away
Another option near the pier is this property on 17th Place. It is is owned by Jane Jacob, a woman George and Barbara Jones know (their condo is across the street). It has a great fenced yard good for pets and children.

Bed and Breakfast
